During our vacation in Seattle, T and I took lots of pictures. Some were happy vacation pics and some were photo references. Below is quick painting based on one of those photos from Whidbey Island in northern Washington.
I like this one a lot, CK! Two of my favorite visuals from nature -- clouds and water. Your composition has an unusual simplicity, using the white of the paper in the water and sky. Gives it an abstract quality, too. (IMHO)
Thanks Joyce. I wanted this to be more loose and abstract, glad you felt it was. The clouds and the sky on the day I took the photo were pretty magical. . .and inspiring.
